    Problem

    As the electronic battlefield intensifies, staying one step ahead of our adversaries remains more critical than ever to ensure dominance across the airwaves. Leveraging our leading-edge electronic warfare research, our team of experts provides analysis, concept development, prototyping and test and evaluation support to solve our customers’ most complex problems. Our engineers and scientists conduct a wide variety of data analytics, using the latest analysis tools including MATLab, SQL, Python and Java. We develop statistical, diagnostic and parametric analyses to inform our customers' material development programs from Acquisition Milestone A though post Milestone C.  Our custom labs and prototypes provide the fidelity needed for sound test and evaluation assessments and support critical mission objectives.​

    Solution

    Prototyping and fabrication

    Our custom prototype development and fabrication facilities address challenges across a wide variety of technical domains including electrical, mechanical, optical, and software engineering and systems integration to meet the rapidly and ever-changing needs of our customers. 

    Using a variety of current engineering design modeling and simulation techniques, our engineers and scientists can simulate and evaluate our designs before any metal is bent or wires are soldered. From breadboard, form and functional prototypes, we can take a concept to a functional prototype to gain an in-depth understanding of what the end state will be long before anything is manufactured. As we further fabricate prototype components and systems, we test and evaluate every step along the way to refine and improve our prototype’s capability.

    We design and develop state-of-the-art dynamic laboratories and precision robotic and automation capabilities that simulate multiple degrees of dynamic motion to meet high fidelity test and evaluation requirements.  
    Our custom designed laboratories enable rigorous evaluation of technologies before they are integrated with other systems and deployed in the field. For example, we have developed laboratories with three, five and six degrees of freedom motion, capable of simulating moving platforms such as ground vehicles, helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft as well as missiles, mortars and ballistic rounds.  ​

    Our staff has years of experience evaluating and characterizing active communication systems, network, radio frequency, electro-optical / infrared and laser systems along with passive sensor systems. Our laboratory designs provide the fidelity our customers need to make technology readiness decisions that meet critical mission objectives.​​
