Securing and modernizing intelligent transportation systems

Transportation is a critical national infrastructure, with both our economy and society relying upon efficient, dependable, and secure transport of goods and people. Like the electric smart grid, ITS depends upon secure, advanced communications services for the data operations that deliver improved vehicular traffic flow, make rail travel safer, and keep operators and users informed of conditions.
