Joseph Aletta currently serves as vice president of technology transition and integration at Peraton Labs. He joined the company following the acquisition of DHPC Technologies on May 1, 2020. In this role, Joe is responsible for integrating and transitioning the artificial intelligence / machine learning, cyber and wireless research and technologies Peraton Labs develops with DHPC’s electronic warfare and prototyping programs.
Most recently, Aletta served as president and chief executive officer of DHPC Technologies since 2011 where he was responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and other business goals and objectives. He has more than 37 years of technical and leadership experience in both defense and commercial markets. Prior to joining DHPC Technologies, Aletta worked for Booz Allen Hamilton, where he served as a senior associate providing technical leadership and management overseeing the analysis, systems engineering and software development for the Single Integrated Ground Picture (SIGP) program. His career also includes time at Lucent Bell Labs Optical Network Group as a technical manager, where he led a team of optical network planners, field engineers and software developers. Prior to Bell Labs, he was an Army civilian engineer for 17 years working in the areas of electronic warfare and aircraft survivability equipment systems, where he served in increasing roles of responsibilities. Aletta holds a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Engineering from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a member of the Army Aviation Association of America, Association of the United States Army, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, and is a member and former officer of the Garden State Chapter of the Association of Old Crows. He currently sits on the Rutgers University Cybersecurity Advisory Board as well as the board for the smart baby monitor company, Miku Inc. |
